Dialogue between different churches and about Eucharist

The meeting was organised as a part of preparation for the International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) of Budapest in 2020. The keynote speakers were invited from different churches and religions to share their view on the perception of the Eucharist. The main purpose and intention was to reflect on the the richness of the Eucharist at a scientific level. This common examination of the historical roots and origins aims to accept the diversity and discover the common values.

The conference was honoured by the presence of His Excellency, Michael August Blume, the apostolic nuncio to Hungary. In his welcome speech, His Eminence, Péter Cardinal Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Primate of Hungary highlighted the importance of this unique dialogue and expressed his gratitude for all the speakers.
