Mary’s country

In response to the global coronavirus pandemic, the Portuguese Bishops’ Conference announced last week that they would reconsecrate their country to Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary on the 25th of March. Shortly after the announcement, 24 countries –Hungary amongst- joined and requested that their country also be consecrated in the same liturgy.

Thus, once again we could offer our country to the protection of the Virgin Mother, as a reconfirmation and a seal of the dedication made a thousand years ago by King St. Steven.
