A strange sight is standing before the eyes of the customers entering a supermarket in Venezuela: a mosaic figure of Jesus made of packages of rice.

The mosaic has been created by José Ruiz, a young employee who decided to honour the Holy Week by commemorating on Jesus Christ’s suffering, death and resurrection. 100 packages of rice have been used for the composition.

„It is important to remember the presence of Jesus Christ during the Holy Week and we have to tell all those paying a visit to us that God is our guide and we must trust Him.” – said José.

The creation caught even the attention of the Caracas Archdiocese, thus the story has been shared on their Twitter as well:

- as their Twitter post said.
