We were called to an adoration embracing the whole globe on the eve of Corpus Christi Day, on 2nd June by the Secretariat of the International Eucharistic Congress. According to the estimated results in 45 countries of six continents - tens of thousands of people - joined the chain of adoration.

We call you to adore the Jesus present in the Eucharist all over the world at 5: pm on the 2nd June, on the Eve of Corpus Christi Day. Register at the Corpus Domini website! When founding the Eucharist, Jesus takes the bread and says: TAKE IT, THIS IS MY BODY. He calls us to be in communion with Him, and through Him with each other.

This will be the 52nd in the 150 year-history of Congresses, and it will be celebrated in Budapest from 13 to 20 September 2020. Dear friends, In the last meeting of the Episcopal Conference, the bishops of Turkey have proposed to make a programme in preparation for the next International Eucharistic Congress, which is going to take place in Budapest, Hungary, in 2020. Together with the priests, religious men and women, and consecrated persons we welcomed this initiative as an occasion of grace for the city of İzmir.

On 8th November 2017 His Holiness, Pope Francis welcomed, Cardinal Angelo Amato, prefect of the Congregation of the Saints at an audience, and entrusted him to make eight decrees public, in which the recognition of two martyrdoms and the heroic virtues of six servants of God was acknowledged.

A delegation of the Hungarian Catholic Church, led by His Eminence, Péter Cardinal Erdő had meetings in the Vatican on 15th March. After the negotiations we asked the Cardinal for a brief summary.
