An Illustrated Report: The Plenary Meeting of the Emissaries of 75 Countries in Budapest

11 May 2019
The members of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses and the national delegates gathered for a meeting in Budapest between 8-11 May.

According to Archbishop Piero Marini, president of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses, the Congress of 2020 will be special, because “Hungary is in a central place in Europe, and for the birth of a new Europe its presence will be important for the future. The former master of ceremonies of St. Pope John Paul II added that Europe has partially lost hope that the Congress would like to renew in the heart of the faithful.
