Seven words

Jean-Luc Moens is a lay person, a mathematician, a father and grandfather. He has converted as an adult, and spiritually is tied to the CHARIS, an acronym for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal International Service. Péter Erdő emphasizes that the charismatic community prayers Jean-Luc Moens testifies, finds its highest expression in the Eucharistic adoration.
In his message Jean-Luc Moens speaks about his experience during the two months long locked-in pandemic period, discovering that the Eucharist is an outstanding mercy. He recalls Gabrielle Bossis, a French mystic and writer, who heard Jesus’ words, which she noted and published in her book “He and I”. One of Gabrielle’s notes has deeply touched me – remembers Moens. Jesus says to Gabrielle: “I like you telling me: Jesus, I know you are here and I love you!”
This touching feeling is what the moderator of CHARIS experiences, when after the quarantine, he takes again the Holy Eucharist. Jean-Luc Moens encourages us to say this short, only seven words prayer daily, until we meet next year at the International Eucharistic Congress in Budapest: “Jesus, I know you are here and I love you.”
